Engagement session in Marina Del Rey
Jackie & Neal, we look forward to seeing you again next month in Santa Ynez!
We’ve had a string of cold, gray engagement sessions lately, which in theory could be getting bothersome, but we thought the gray skies were sort of perfect for Jackie and Neal’s engagement session since it gave the images a very northeastern look. Jackie and Neal live on the east coast, and Neal has his own very cool sailboat, so a little New England vibe to these pictures is only appropriate.
Okay, prepare yourselves…this is one of the coolest falling in love stories ever! Lady Vee and Mr. M met riding the Big Blue Bus to work. At first they just noticed each other, sneaking glances over the tops of their books. Then Lady Vee started noticing that she’d take a second look in the mirror before leaving her apartment in the morning; Mr. M would hurry up & rush out of the house to make sure didn’t miss her bus. Once even they ended up on different buses but saw each other pass by in traffic. Come on, we cannot make stuff up that is this romantic! Once Lady Vee and Mr. M started talking…okay, we’ll be honest, it wasn’t perfect right away! But, ultimately, they’ve fallen joyfully in love and are just the sweetest! So, OF COURSE we had to photograph their e-session on the Big Blue Bus!

We met up with Marisa & Steven and their adorable dog, Dopey, for a fun session at the ultra-fab Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica. An overcast day may have made us ditch our plans for the beach, but with such a cool location as this, who needs the beach anyway?!

Erica and Wally met while writing a song together, so it was very fitting for us to photograph their engagement session at Wally’s music studio in Hollywood. We had such a great time with these two – Very much looking forward to their wedding next month at the Sunset Restaurant!
