Ingrid and Tim, thanks for a shoot we’ll never forget!
When Ingrid and Tim told us their idea for doing an engagement session in their friend’s old car shop/junk yard, we practically started drooling then and there. We absolutely love it when our clients have a strong vision for their engagement shoot and are willing to do something a little (or a lot!) out of the box. Add in a couple of cool old cars, and Ingrid and Tim’s impeccable style, and we were in heaven! We hope these images serve as inspiration for any of our other couples who are thinking of doing something a bit different for their e-session.

Ingrid and Tim, thanks for a shoot we’ll never forget!
Katie and Bragi’s beautiful backyard wedding in Brentwood is on newsstands now in in the 2010 issue of Ceremony magazine, and will appear on Ceremony’s new website, California Wedding Wave, later this year.

It was an honor to spend our last wedding of 2009 with the truly lovely Andrea and Kevin at The Muckenthaler Mansion. We’ve so enjoyed getting to know Andrea and Kevin, and their beautiful wedding was a perfect way to end a very fun season!
A few notes on this wedding:
Beautiful flowers by Amanda Claverie at Rosebud Flowers
Cake by Colette’s Catering
Groom’s Suit by Calvin Klein

Andrea is a dancer, and when Kevin proposed to her, he had her dance company perform a piece that had been choreographed just for the event. Isn’t that so sweet? They recreated it on the stage at the Muck before everyone went into the reception.

Be sure to check out a couple more of our faves from this wedding in the post below. Congratulations, Andrea and Kevin!
Naama & Greg had one of our favorite weddings ever, so when Greg’s mom, Connie, emailed us to ask about photography for Greg’s sister Melissa’s wedding, we absolutely jumped at the opportunity to be part of another big day in this family’s life. It’s probably the biggest compliment we can receive as photographers to be asked to capture a second wedding for the same family.
As we expected, Melissa and Dave’s wedding, which was held in Los Angeles in the backyard garden of a family member, was full of all the best things – wonderfully happy and supportive family and friends, beautiful weather (The colorful leaves and light we had for portraits were perfection!), and a couple who are big time in love. We’re just bummed that there are no more siblings in the family to be married off!

Melissa and Dave, it was a complete joy being part of your wedding day! Thank you for having us!
