We’ve been bursting at the seams to show you Ingrid and Tim’s wedding at Rancho Los Cerritos. You may remember their really awesome engagement session that we photographed in a junkyard last spring. Well, we had a feeling after that shoot that Ingrid would be pulling out all the stops for her wedding style and decor, and we were spot on – as were all her amazing details! But the thing we’ll remember most about this wedding was how Ingrid was absolutely beaming all day about marrying her sweetheart. Ingrid and Tim, we wish you many years of such happy days!
Ingrid (along with her friends and family) handcrafted so many of the details for the wedding themselves, but there were also many, many vendors who brought this day to life. Rachel & David were married at one of our favorite locations, Café Pinot in downtown LA, on one of the hottest, but most joyful, days of the summer so far. For Rachel & David it was all about the celebration of their love and they got the party started straight out of the gate. After a quick portrait session at the new downtown Ritz-Carlton (and a quick stop in a pigeon infested alley…eek, but totally worth it!), the day for Rachel, David and their guests actually started with the cocktail hour. Genius! Rachel & David were able to connect with their guests right from the start, cool down with a chilled drink, exchange their emotional vows and party into the night. Rachel was stunning in not one, but TWO amazing dresses (starting with a slinky Nicole Miller and surprising David as she walked down the aisle in a sparkly Reem Acra) and David couldn’t take his eyes off of her all night. These two are smitten with one another and their love just glows. We couldn’t wipe the smiles off of our own faces!

Caroline and Mario wanted a mix of urban and rustic for their engagement session, and we were happy to oblige. We love that Caroline brought some fun props to the session – So cute! We’re eagerly awaiting their wedding this September at Mountain Gate Country Club!
We’ve had a string of cold, gray engagement sessions lately, which in theory could be getting bothersome, but we thought the gray skies were sort of perfect for Jackie and Neal’s engagement session since it gave the images a very northeastern look. Jackie and Neal live on the east coast, and Neal has his own very cool sailboat, so a little New England vibe to these pictures is only appropriate.
