Maggie & Chris’ wedding at the Boston Public Library was an ultra glamorous affair inspired by a favorite childhood book, The Secret Garden. From florals reminiscent of an English garden to the moss covered books stacked on tables to pop up paper love notes, every detail was sheer perfection. And that Oscar de la Renta gown…we truly have no words.
Stephanie has impeccable taste (Those lovely invitations? She designed them herself!), so there was no doubt that her wedding to Andrew would be beautiful, but it was also such a wonderful wedding just to BE at. The weather was perfect, the location was fabulous (we’ve been missing California vineyard weddings so this was a fun treat!), Stephanie and Andrew are totally smitten with each other, and their families and friends were ready to celebrate! Doesn’t get much better.

One of the questions we get asked most frequently is “What should we wear to our engagement session?” And we answer that as long as you wear something that you feel comfortable & confident in, you will look fabulous. But if you want some more specific ideas, feel free to look around our Pinterest page for some of our all time favorite looks (& lots, lots more!)
Wedding Photography Collections are custom created for each couple. Let’s grab some dessert or hop on Skype and we’ll dig in to what you’re imagining for your wedding day. We’ll help you figure out how many hours of coverage you’ll need on the wedding weekend, as well as what you hope for from your wedding photographs when you look at them for years to come. Then we’ll put together the perfect package just for you. Prices start around $4300 for coverage by two photographers and digital files, with lots of options to add bespoke albums and heirloom prints.
We are local to St. Louis and New England, but our passports are always up to date and we have traveled all over for weddings. Extra costs may apply if we need to wander too far from home base.
Hello there! We’re April and Lindsey and we’re delighted to meet you. We are super lucky to have been photographing weddings together for over a decade – we met as kids living in the Midwest, moved to Los Angeles together after college and established and grew Sweet Monday while there. In 2013 we returned East to set up shop in Boston (April) and St. Louis (Lindsey). We still photograph almost all our weddings together and have found that our clients appreciate our seamless method of working as a team and an ability for unspoken communication across a crowded room that we have been cultivating since we were 12 years old.
We both hold degrees in filmmaking and bring our passion for visual storytelling to our photography. While our style is primarily candid or documentary in nature, we frequently incorporate editorial style portraits, all with the objective of capturing the narrative of a wedding through a series of vibrant, emotional images. You can expect to see a lot of natural light filled photographs in our work, but we also love moody and dramatic images when the moment calls for it.
During our nearly 15 years in business, we’ve been fortunate to have worked with the best of the best in the wedding industry and love the collaborative nature of weddings. We’re suckers for detail – both the pretty ones like a lovely stationery suite and the practical ones like keeping the wedding day train running on schedule. We often joke with our clients that “we are type A so you don’t have to be!” What we really hope for all our couples is that they can truly relax on their wedding day and soak in all the love and joy that comes after months of hard work in planning such a big event.
We’re proud to have our work published many times and especially honored to have earned preferred vendor status with several influential and well-known blogs (you can find out more on our Accolades page).
